New Law Bans Cinemas’ Pre-movie Ads

China bans sex-related ads on radio, TV

China’s top broadcasting watchdog on Wednesday ordered a ban on sex-related advertisements on the country’s radio and TV. In a circular issued Wednesday, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) demanded greater self-discipline from radio and TV stations in handling commercials.
