FOXTEL Welcomes Charging of Alleged Pay TV Pirates

FOXTEL today welcomed the Australian Federal Police (AFP) charging a New South Wales man for allegedly running a significant piracy network involved in the theft and illegal on-sale of subscription television through a card sharing scam. This comes on top of charges laid yesterday by NSW Police against other another allegedly illegal piracy operation.

The man charged today by AFP was allegedly involved in the use of subscription television cards to provide a network of people with access to stolen subscription television channels.
