China ad spend set to grow by 15%

China – Ad spend in China is expected to see a 15.2% growth to reach RMB347 billion, GroupM China in its latest study concluded.

The forecast titled ‘This Year, Next Year: China Media Forecasts”, attributed the growth to several factors such as television audience size, and expansion in the internet, outdoor and mobile media.

Ad spend is expected to reach RMB 406 billion in 2012, an increase of 17% compared to its 2011 forecast, GroupM added.
